Vision
Through all the trials and testing of Faith that Pastor Rita and I have gone through, God used it to form a Vision for the FaithFinders.

We can be considered different in how we believe and conduct a service. We may seem to be unstructured or too free. We could also be labeled strange in the eyes of the mainstream denominational churches. However, what we believe can be found in the same Bible that all the Christian Churches are reading.

We may dance with taborets or run, jump, leap, and have Faith Marches, or people may speak in other tongues, or shout “Amen,” “Hallelujah,” “Praise the Lord,” or I myself may carry a “Rod” or “Staff” around the Church. Our music may be up-beat, contemporary styled, and during Worship you may see men and women lying on the floor face down or standing up and crying. Nonetheless, we believe God to be the same yesterday, today, and forever. If it were good for the Saints of Old, why would it not be good for us today?

{Psalms 23:4, 33:3, 40:3, 63:4, 134:2, 149, 150; Matt 11:17, 28:4, Mark 6:13, 16:18; John 18:16; Acts 9:4, 22:7, 28:8; 1 Cor 14:15; 1 Tim 2:8: James 5:14; Rev 1:17; 2 Chron 5:14; Lam 2:19}

We believe that the Body of Christ should be just what it says, “The Body of Christ.” Why because we Worship, Pray, or Praise differently, should we alienate ourselves from others who do these things differently? The body is supposed to be connected. We are to be a family! Just think what would happen to communities, if we would fellowship publicly and proclaim that we are all Christians, just attending different buildings for Worship. Don’t you think that the unbelievers would become curious?

  • We believe God’s vision is to unite all the Christians into one body. That the Church can have people leaping and running, while at the same time having others sitting and meditating on the Lord. The eyes not being on how others are Praising, but on God. A place where everyone will be allowed to Praise and Worship their way with the only exception being - not interfere with someone else’s worship or praise. We successfully do this now and it can work.
  • We have a Vision that the Church should be community orientated. Such as getting out in the community and helping with the functions associated with the town, such as parades, Christmas events, helping the needy, and others. We want a Church that people are not scared to work side by side with someone who is not saved. To effectively use works and activities to witness to the unchurched. To simply be involved with life and reality, not to hide away in a building and never come out again.
  • We have a vision of a Faith School, a K-12 school for Christian education. A school that will not only teach the three R’s, but teach Christian faith, morals, and values. A school, which is based on Biblical Principles that would educate our children and mold them to be leaders for tomorrow.
  • We have a Vision for a Faith Housing Program, which would help to put people into homes. A program that would buy the homes, remodel them. Then place a faithful, tithing Christian family into it for a probationary period of one to two years teaching them how to manage and maintain a home. After which time, the family may purchase the home out right.
  • We have a Vision for an extraordinary youth program that would capture the attention of all the youths in the area. That would meet the needs of the youth on their level and not making them conform to something they are not. A youth program that would instill Biblical principles that would be useful in life’s tough decisions.
  • We have a Vision for a Men’s & Women’s group that would be there to uplift a Brother or Sister when they need help. That would be there to help when a life crisis hits. To help through daily struggles that weigh us down and keep us from living productive Christian lives. To help with failures and addictions and all the fiery darts that Satan can throw at us in our lives.
  • We have a Vision for a Children’s Church that would enable parents to Worship, while knowing that their children are being well cared for and learning about Jesus. Not just to read a story about Biblical characters, but to understand the hidden values and concepts that our God intended us to know.
  • We have also been given a Vision for 1,500-seat sanctuary and membership of 5,000. We do not know how or where this will come from, but we do know that... "with God all things are possible." - Matthew 19:27

Conclusion:
Rita and I have a big Vision that will take an army of believers to fulfill. It is going to take dedicated believers that are in Church to work for the Kingdom of God. People that will work long, hard hours and receive little to no praise for what they do. People that know they are called to work in the Kingdom and accept their gifts and callings for what they are, and use them to the utmost degree.

We will see this Vision come to pass,
there is the question, “will you help?”
